FINALLY !! FINALLY !! FINALLY !!!!!!!!!

It is finally here, in my hands,Morrissey -- Years of Refusal, and I am beyond thrilled, I’m going to do a real time reaction to this album song by song like I did with the Fall Out Boy album. So here we go !

Something Is Squeezing My Skull -- nice fast upbeat intro, love the very first line “I’m doing very well…”  fantastic how we expect him to say head but then goes with skull, to be 100% honest I’m just so excited to be listening to new Morrissey I can barely focus but this is really good song, love the listing medications …they all sound familiar is that bad

Mama Lay Softly On The Riverbed-- different …kinda reminds me of some of his earlier stuff …but again the lyrics are classic Morrissey …and the music is good, love the electronic feel…I think he really misses his mom …lol but I love his casual disregard for death …the way he sees it as an escape and not something to be scared of …

Black Cloud-- the second the music started I got that feeling of wow I am going to love this song …the interlude is fantastic !! …again classic Morrissey feel overall …metaphors and incredible vocals ….can you tell I’m so freakin giddy to have this !!

I’m Throwing My Arms Around Paris-- while I find it kinda random he chose Paris …probably cause it sounds good with because …but I love the guitar in this …the theme of being his being unlovable is definitely back in this album …

All You Need Is Me-- yep …its true …he is absolutely the only thing I need to survive …how did he know ? …ok sorry ..this was released on a greatest hits album he put out right before this album so I’ve heard this before and of course love it …the best part is hands down : “there’s a naked man standing in your dreams and you know who it is…” lol  and the random lalalalalalalalalalalalalaaaarom at the end :P

When I Last Spoke To Carol-- so random …just so completely random ….I want to talk to Carol now …and the trumpets in the background …love it …little Spanish interlude there …and all I can see is a Mexican gun show down lol …definitely one of my favs on the album ! also the little hurricane noises at the end reminds me of the wind temple in Zelda (*points to self* NERD)

That’s How People Grow Up-- this is the second song he released on the hits album so again I’ve heard it before …I love the intro …the lyrics again classic Morrissey and so good …but for the record Morrissey …I look at you and see my sunlit dreams ….just sayin …lol

One Day Goodbye Will Be Farewell-- I can’t even handle the title of the song …drums are incredible …have I mentioned how much I just freakin love his lyrics …”and when I die I want to go to hell and then good bye will be farewell” ….nuff said

It’s Not Your Birthday Anymore-- *DIES* ….just seriously …..i’m dead ….his voice just killed me …EPICNESS right here …if I could be granted 3 songs bye him to be sung to me in person …acoustic …it would be Asleep first …but this second …and then the more you ignore me third …but this second for sure !

You Were Good In Your Time-- ....*IS REVIVED* ….*DIES AGAIN* ….k …everything I just said above ….copy and paste hear ….GUUUHHHHHH ….my god …k this is moved to number 3 and then I ask for more songs because I just can’t handle how genius he is …such a haunting voice …and the lyrics …my brain = mush right now

Sorry Doesn’t Help-- sorry really doesn’t fix everything …

I’m OK By Myself-- me too Morrissey …I agree …people do seem to be disturbed when people aren’t in relationships …get over it

Well ….that was incredibly satisfying lol …obviously I LOVED this whole album …there was classic Morrissey lyrics about love and being alone …life lessons rolled up in metaphors …and the music had a touch of the old but mostly was very original …and of course his vocals ….god …words cannot accurately describe how amazing and brilliant those are …there were no doubt on that ….

So my advice …this is an album you will not regret purchasing …just when you think he can’t get any better Morrissey does it again …. *blissed out sigh*

Well this is going to just be super quick because I have class in like 5 mins ...but later tonight at work I'll post a huge update and then hopefully i'll keep updating and maybe we can take this LJ thing somewhere other than just lurking around random communities ...

Oh for the love of everything holy and evil and in between the two of those but leaning more to one side then the other because one side is funner and has cooler people over there and your parents want you on the other side so you have to go to the opposite side just  to piss them off, not to mention all your friends are over there so you have to go over there and hang out with them and laugh because your all pissing off your parents, but then you see your annoying older brother over there too or some other stupid people you never could stand so you have to reconsider going over to that side which is why your in between the two and still leaning to one side and weighing your options, things in this god forsaken, hell infested sorry excuse for a world we live in .....
              I AM SO BORED !!

I am so bored that it should be illegal to be this bored. There should be a law that says when people reach this level of boredom they are declared to be in a coma and forced to commit suicide or be put down because their lives no longer have any meaning. I am mind-numbingly bored.
